The nights are starting to cool down and days are no longer in the triple digits. I am so ready to say goodbye to August and welcome in September. Only 1 more day… This past weekend we ushered out the summer with a picnic at our favorite park in Charlotte. The Queen City has a Jazz Festival three times each summer. We happened to catch the last one on Saturday at Freedom Park. The weather was perfect and so was the food! I packed us enough snacks to last the four hours we would be there. This past Friday, Nick and I took a day off from life and spontaneously enjoyed everything we love about living near Charlotte, NC. We are coming up on our one year anniversary in North Carolina.
