First of all, I’m so sorry I’ve been missing for a few weeks. I had several curly hair products I wanted to finish up before testing new styling products.
Are you nervous about your first curly hair cut? I know I was when Cathy from Merlins Salon in Manchester, NH, cut and highlighted my curls for the fall season. Hiring a curly stylist for the first time can be stressful. However, I have learned that when you trust them, they can do wonders with your hair!

September. The month we all begin to dream about pumpkin spice, hot cider, warm color palettes and leaf peeping. While I love this month for all those reasons, I am excited to start this season with my new curly hairstyle with highlights!
It was a sad day as I strolled into Sanctuary Salon and Spa for my last curly girl cut. In two weeks, Nick and I would be moving to New Hampshire. Taking a plane flight to Cornelius, North Carolina, for a hair cut is a bit out of the question. Although, I have considered it! That’s how much I love my stylist.
The goal for this DevaCurl cut was long lasting shape as I did not know when my next cut would be. Below are the details on how my stylists cut and styled my curls.
