Summer in New England is the perfect time to capture those precious moments of life. For example, two weeks ago, I gifted a maternity photo shoot to my friends. I’m glad I did. Baby girl arrived 4 weeks early!
Lake Winnipesaukee Photo Shoot
You may know my blog as a curly girl, Sandals Resort travel and gluten free blog. However, you may not know that I was once a portrait photographer.
Every now and then, I gather friends or family and tell their story through my camera lens. Today, I’m sharing the love story of Aaron and Estelle.
Last October, they were married in a little, New England chapel. I took their wedding photos on a covered bridge with the fall leaves around them. It was magical.
Fast forward to New Year’s Eve where they ring in the new year with the news their family is growing!
I let Estelle know the best time to take maternity portraits was between 28 to 36 weeks of the pregnancy. She let me know she was 35 weeks pregnant. Needless to say, this beautiful couple was in front of my lens within days.
We chose a local beach at sunset for their maternity photo shoot. With Lake Winnipesaukee as their backdrop and golden hour fast approaching, we captured several amazing shots. (Scroll to the bottom of blog post for outfit ideas.)
Estelle’s favorite part of the photo shoot were the ducklings. They followed us up and down the beach. Several make an appearance in her photos.
