Walnuts, cinnamon spice, honey and warm pears make for a perfect fall treat! Serve with your choice of dairy free yogurt, cashew, coconut or almond ice cream.
Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegan, Paleo Friendly
2 Organic Ripe Pears
1/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon
2 tsp Locally Sourced Honey
1/4 cup Crushed Walnuts
1The first of this five step recipe is to heat your oven to 350 degrees.
2Line a single baking sheet with parchment paper. I recommend using FSC Certified Parchment Baking Paper by If You Care.
3Cut pears in half. (To keep your pears upright, cut a small sliver off the bottom.) Scoop the seeds out with a melon baller. Place on baking sheet.
4Cover pear halves with crushed walnuts. Sprinkle with cinnamon and lastly drizzle with honey.
5Bake for 30 minutes. Remove and cool to your liking. Enjoy! We suggest serving this with vanilla cashew ice cream!
